Its often said that Sales/Marketing and IT don’t get on. I think its because each value different aspects of a particular project, but generally we agree on the fact that our success is decided by the actual consumer using the product.
I wanted to share with you an edited diagram our wonderful engineering team sent me on the layout of Beacon iProximity placement plan for an upcoming event in Melbourne, Australia.
The full diagram shows the propagation values for each Beacon in each installed location and what is required to cover the “coverage areas” during the event.
Best of all I loved this comment:
“If the crowd at the venue exceeds the seating area and spill onto the grass, then we recommend, that due to the lack of suitable installation points, staff carrying Beacons be deployed to designated locations on the grassed area.”
Looks like the engineering team will be busy and enjoying a show that night!
