ScreenSmarts – proximity based screen control

#ScreenSmarts integrates with your existing Digital Media Screens to detect the presence of your customers and interrupt normal content programming to display personalised #contextual offers or information.

ScreenSmarts can connect a Digital Display Screen and a smart phone effectively turning any smart phone into a real-time remote control.

ScreenSmarts can deliver the same or different content to a user’s smart phone and the digital display screen, maximising the effect of both screens. Imagine a customer being presented an offer on the large format Digital Display Screen and simultaneously receiving the unique redemption bar code on their smart phone.

ScreenSmarts connects to your existing CRM and analytics systems.

ScreenSmarts is #iProximity‘s latest addition to the award winning iPX™ Context Management and #Proximity Platform.

ScreenSmarts was launched at the Online Retailer Show in Sydney, iProximity teamed up with Fujitsu, our latest partner and took centre stage in the ‘Future Store’.

Inside the Future Store

A number of live and interactive demonstrations were on display showing how the ScreenSmarts solution interacts with Fujitsu’s Telentice Platform to deliver personalised and contextual content  on Digital Display Screens.

The demonstrations included:

  • Product information: which allowed any smartphone to tap an NFC tag or scan a QR code and be presented with a menu on the smartphone. This menu could then control the content displayed on the Digital Display Screen.
  • Context / Loyalty: demonstrated how a loyal customer with your App installed could be greeted on the Digital Display Screen and have relevent personalised content delivered based on new arrivals or previous purchases.
  • Click n’ Collect: demonstrated our advanced detection and notification of the arrival of a click n’ collect customer including how Fujitsu screens can be utilised to upsell the customer.
  • Hello Bubbles: floated peoples names on the screen as they walked past – this caused a lot of attention, but allow us to demonstrate the products ability to interrupt normal programming of the Screen and insert personalised content of a known passer by.

ScreenSmarts is another feature of the iProximity iPX™ Platform and is available now. Please contact us for more information.
